They had weeks or even months or, in the case of Kate Bush, years of rollout before they kind of took off and became kind of defining songs of the summer. But it's important to note that song of the summer is a marathon, not a sprint. I mean, I certainly picked three songs that were massive hits in the summer of 2022. THOMPSON: Well, I think I mostly got it pretty right.

So if you can fact-check yourself, what happened in music this summer?

SUMMERS: Stephen Thompson is back now to chat about just how great his predictions were. SUMMERS: She had a whole album drop this summer.īEYONCE: (Singing) And I'm telling everybody, everybody. SUMMERS: And, of course, there is Beyonce.īEYONCE: (Singing) You won't break my soul. SUMMERS: That one is pretty self-explanatory. (SOUNDBITE OF LIZZO SONG, "ABOUT DAMN TIME")
EYE OF THE BEHOLDER 3 RULE BOOK TV
SUMMERS: "Running Up That Hill," the 1980s song revived by the TV show "Stranger Things." KATE BUSH: (Singing) Be running up that road, be running up that hill. (SOUNDBITE OF SONG, "RUNNING UP THAT HILL") Well, some of those predictions probably sound pretty familiar by now. And back when this season started, we asked NPR's Stephen Thompson to predict which songs would be everywhere this summer.

It's the last day of summer in many people's eyes, including mine. Have fun! Also, another thing, Thieves aren't totally useless in Eye of the Beholder 3 because if you're like me, and something tells me you're not, you don't carry Potions of Giant Strength, and there are some levers in the Underwater Labyrinth that require either said potion or Thieves' Tools to get them to move.Well, it's Labor Day. I always start there and bring my party over to three. Have fun! I already figured out, thanks to a previous poster, that Demi-Humans can't reach level 20, but if an Elf can reach level 18, like you suggest, then maybe I could've made my Mage an Elf instead, but I wanted her to reach level 20 so I could cast SEVERAL Time Stop spells on the Dark God to keep him from attacking my party, even though according to the 2nd Edition D&D Rulebook, the Dark God SHOULD be immune to Time Stop, but hey, I'm not complaining.Īnyways, thanks for the advice! I'll have to try it next time I decide to start a new party in Eye of the Beholder 1. Min-maxers will tell you to never get an Elf (because of the reduced Constitution), but I had great success AND FUN with this party multiple times: Half-elf Fighter/Cleric Elf Fighter/Mage Human Cleric Human Mage. Also, there are NPC Thieves if you really want to do Thief stuff (which in EoB is only opening doors they cannot backstab AFAIK and cannot deal with traps). There are some doors they can get you through more easily (without having to get keys), but I like to explore everything anyway.
EYE OF THE BEHOLDER 3 RULE BOOK FULL
:-) You'll only get 1 slot, but that's more than enough because you have another full (Human) Mage and your Elf is also a Fighter anyway. In AD&D classic rules, a Mage with a 14 Intelligence could only use up to 4th level spells.Īlso, Half-elf allows your to get the highest Cleric spells and Elf can get you to LV18 Mage (also as a multiclass, of course). I always did it, but don't remember if EoB games cared about it. Also, be sure to put an 18 on the relevant Wisdom or Intelligence score. You will have A LOT of spells and if you want to you can keep the front-liners with Shield+Symbol/Book, or Weapon+Symbol/Book, or even Weapon/Shield if you're dealing with a hard-hitting enemy.
